Hullo~ It's your friendly neighborhood mortal!
Lyra d'Aiglemort is trying very hard to do a good job with her new position at Adimus Industries -- which includes guesstimating the appropriate response to work emails, poking around after weird events in the mortal world, and writing lots and lots of reports. She is eager to learn, only 99% neurotic, and will happily pretend she knows what you're doing. Generally friendly to all types of beings, Lyra won't move towards violence unless someone else initiates it -- protecting humanity isn't actually in her job description so she could conceivably be fine with whatever shenanigans your character is up to so long as you don't stab her first.
Lyra is not incredibly knowledgeable of all this supernatural stuff but now it's her job to learn and meet people! And she had a shady past that could have led to any number of unsavory interactions! That, plus a company account, means she would be available for scenes currently or within the last fifteen years in populated areas of the human world.
Things I can offer:
1.) Bizarre conversation -- did you ever want to meet a mortal and wonder what rock they've crawled out from under? Lyra's your girl! She will do her best to approximate human speech patterns but that model is still loading. However, with a side of professional curiosity, this could result in any number of investigative conversations with zero side of judgement. Want someone to follow you and ask about your patrol route through the human world? What about someone to chat with as you digest that tasty soul?
2.) Unpaid labor -- as a side effect of her wandering, Lyra is easy to rope into situations. She may even try to insert herself into your task if she imagines you need help! So much as glance sideways at her and she will happily assume you expect her to lend a hand. Skillset includes: menial labor, cleaning up after you, patching you up, telling you how pretty you look, delivering your mail.
3.) Past Skullduggery -- (related to point 2 but with an extra shade of angst), Lyra used to do a lot of 'errands' for various people in the human world. Did you ever need someone to disappear your Bount neighbor? Maybe your organization wanted information on a local party but didn't want to dirty their faces personally. Are you a strangely social Hollow who negotiates for food? Conversely, did something bad happen to your mortal? Lyra could have been involved! Specialties include: apologetic kidnappings, bizarre conversations in the midst of crime, sneaking around.
And so forth! If you have ideas about Adimus Industries work -- or decide to join up and be a co-worker -- please toss them my way!
